My name is Lindsey. Welcome to PDC.
Dance has been in my life for as long as I can remember. I have spent thousands of hours in a dance studio taking or teaching classes for the better part of 25 years. Hundreds of hours on the road, traveling around the Midwest and the Southeast, to take master classes and attend competitions. I have made lifelong friendships in the dance studio.
It's my blood, my heart and my passion.

Teaching has taught me probably more as a teacher than I have taught my students. Teaching has taught me patience, kindness, compassion, how to mentor, how to build up those around me, how to get everyone to focus on one common goal, how to create and develop leaders, how to cultivate friendships and trust among my students...and the list goes on. Teaching has made me a better person, and for that I could never thank my students enough.

When I envisioned my studio, I wanted to create a space that students could attend and be taught by a wide range of teachers, receive an exceptional technical education and learn to grow as dancers and as people. Platinum Dance Center has an amazing team of faculty members who are diverse in their talents, excited, qualified and inspired to teach your dancer. We cannot wait to show you everything that dance has to offer for your child beyond just a ballet class.
